Cozy Cocoa Recipe
Is there anything better than fireside chats with a mug of hot cocoa in your favorite sweater? We don't think so. That's why we are sharing one of our favorite hot cocoa recipes today.
You know those Girl Scout cookies that we all eat one too many boxes of? Well, get ready because we are sharing a hybrid between Thin Mints and classic hot chocolate. This will be your new winter obsession.
Ingredients
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/4 C cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 C hot water
- 3 C milk I used 2 %
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
Instructions

Mix together sugar, cocoa, and salt in a pan.

Add water and mix until dissolved.

Bring to a boil and cook and stir for about 2 minutes

Add in milk and extract.

Cook until hot. Do not allow to boil
